Electrical Department

Heinzmann Automation AS has been a trusted provider of maritime automation solutions and engine control systems for many years. We have taken a strategic step to strengthen our position in the market with the establishment of our own electrical department in 2023 and subsequent approvals from “Elvirksomhetsregisteret” through the Norwegian Directorate for Civil Protection (“DSB”) in 2024.
We are authorized to conduct inspections on behalf of DSB for fishing and catch vessels, as well as cargo and passenger ships under 15 meters. This milestone opens exciting opportunities for both us and our customers, demonstrating our commitment to quality and safety.

Our approval enables us to offer a wider range of services for both maritime and land-based sectors. With an installer approved in the Electrical Business Register, we provide:

  • Electrical inspections for fishing vessels and smaller ships.
  • Rectification of deviations from previous inspections.
  • New installations and maintenance of existing systems.
