Heinzmann Automation AS
Since the early 80s HEINZMANN Automation have been a supplier of marine automation products, systems and services to merchant vessels and navy vessels. Having successfully rebuilt more than 60 vessels, and the majority of them being navy vessels with strict requirements for automation as well as documentation and project management, we have a high degree of competence and highly skilled engineers.
Main customers since 1984 have been the Royal Norwegian Navy and the Coast Guard. Other customers are shipowners like PGS, DOF, Hurtigruten (Coastal Steamer), Maritime Management, and the Taiwanese Coast Guard, as well as major marine engine distributors and manufacturers like Pon Power and MAN.
By becoming part of the HEINZMANN Group in 2011, the company has expanded its business internationally, and the product range for marine systems now includes products from all members of the group, as well as from third party suppliers, to form Integrated Automation Systems according to the customer’s needs and requirements.
Quality management is important, and we are ISO certified. Our employees carry a high degree of project management skills, as well as technical skills, and we believe this is one of the reasons why so many of our customers have been partnering with us as for all these years.

The group started with Heinzmann GmbH & Co. KG, and now counts REGULATEURS EUROPA, HEINZMANN UK, HEINZMANN China, HEINZMANN Australia, HEINZMANN India, HEINZMANN Automation, CPK Automotive and Giro Engineering as member companies. The HEINZMANN Group boasts a combined total of sixteen global subsidiaries, including nine production sites and an international distributor network. The product portfolio comprises engine management system solutions, as well as exhaust gas treatment solutions, for industrial combustion engines and turbines; it also encompasses automation systems, primarily for the shipping industry. HEINZMANN's electric drives bear testimony to both its capacity for innovation and its skill for developing engine technologies for the future.
